Human chain and pledge taking for Ethical Voting at S.B.H.S.M. Khalsa College of Education,Mahilpur, under SVEEP Activity and Red Ribbon Club . In this activity Nodal officer (SVEEP & Red Ribbon Club ) highlighted the importance of right to vote in democracy and students of D.El.Ed and B.Ed took pledge for Ethical Voting .

Annual Athletic meet was orgnised on March 22,2024 by Sant Baba Hari Singh Memorial Khalsa College of Education,Mahilpur to boost up the spirit of sports among students of D.El.Ed. and B.Ed . As sports are important part of curriculam, it fills students with qualities of leadership and co-operation .Pupil Teachers have to perform different roles in their teaching learning process and events like this prepare them.

To inculcate Basic Moral Values among students an Extension lecture was orgnised by college on ' Moral Values' by Satnam Singh Ji ,Sehaj Path Seva Society, Ludhiana on March 21,2024. Light was thorwn on Spritualisam and Basic Moral Values , methods to acquire them and their importance in human life . Students were enlightened and special thanks to the speaker for enlightening the student.

 

 

 

 

In a big experiment, college has started Inter College Online Competitions to lift the morale of locked down students by letting them express their creativity for which Online Mono- Acting/ Monologue Competition was organized in collaboration with Department of Youth and Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh on the Theme: COVID-19 in the month of July 2020 in which more than 100 students participated from various colleges of India enthusiastically. A lot of interesting, high-quality, professional work was shared by the students. The result of Online Inter-College competition was declared on 20th August 2020 and E-Certificates were provided to all the winners and participants.

Arts Club of S.B.H.S.M. Khalsa College of Education thought of an Online Inter-College Competition of Collage Making, Poster Making & Cartooning to engage students in a constructive work. Online Inter-College Competition was conducted in the month of June on the Theme: Child Labour, Yoga and Drug Abuse. The club received registrations from almost all the states of India making this initiative a huge success. The result of Online Inter-College was declared on 7th July 2020 and E-Certificates were provided to all the winners and participants.

World Environment Day was celebrated on 5th June to raise awareness to protect nature and the planet earth. Various activities were carried out on this day such as awareness webinars, plantation drive and free sapling distribution. Students and teachers were advised to plant sapling in their surrounding area by the Principal. This day was celebrated by Science and Eco Club.

The World Environment Day is observed internationally on June 5 to bring worldwide focus on importance of environment and to stimulate attention and actions for improving the environment. The emergence of COVID-19 has underscored the fact that, when we destroy biodiversity, we destroy the system that supports human life. To sensitize the students about the environment and human values required to save environment a webinar was organized by Science and Eco Club on 5th June, 2020 from 9:30 am-10:30 pm, Prof. Kuldeep Singh Katoch from Department of Education (ICDEOL), Himachal Pardesh Unviersity, Shimla was the resource person.
