Webinar on “Mental Health and Hygiene in Present Scenario” was organized on 29th May, 2020 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on WebEx Platform. In the webinar, Dr. Surinder Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Education (ICDEOL), Himachal Pardesh Unviersity, Shimla focused on students, discussed some of their mental health challenges and strategies that educators can use to help promote their mental health.

World Environment Day was celebrated on 5th June to raise awareness to protect nature and the planet earth. Various activities were carried out on this day such as awareness webinars, plantation drive and free sapling distribution. Students and teachers were advised to plant sapling in their surrounding area by the Principal. This day was celebrated by Science and Eco Club.

Online Inter-College Competition was conducted in the month of June on the Theme: Child Labour, Yoga and Drug Abuse. The club received registrations from almost all the states of India making this initiative a huge success. The result of Online Inter-College was declared on 7th July 2020 and E-Certificates were provided to all the winners and participants.
Read moreIn a big experiment, college has started Inter College Online Competitions to lift the morale of locked down students by letting them express their creativity for which Online Mono- Acting/ Monologue Competition was organized in collaboration with Department of Youth and Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh on the Theme: COVID-19 in the month of July 2020 in which more than 100 students participated from various colleges of India enthusiastically. A lot of interesting, high-quality, professional work was shared by the students. The result of Online Inter-College competition was declared on 20th August 2020 and E-Certificates were provided to all the winners and participants.
